1-Day Workshop Held for Youths to Access Financial Resources

One day training of Micro-finance workshop was held in Kabul to enable Afghan youths to access financial sources for boosting economy in Afghanistan, officials at Afghanistan Micro-finance Association claimed that 90 billion Afghani has been given as loans to youths in 19 provinces of the country.

Chairman of the Afghanistan Micro-finance Association Najeebullah Samim said, “Our object is to prevent young Afghan people from going to abroad and also to grow variety of businesses, the loans will be given to those who have economy plans for helping themselves and others in Afghanistan.”

Meanwhile Acting Minister of culture and information Kamal Sadaat ensured that Government will support Afghan youths for growing the economy.

He said, “We have spoken with the internal- International institutions about economy supports of young Afghans and their plans for growing economy in the country.”

One of the participants at the workshop Hameed Salangi said, “Young Afghans due to no financial supports are facing severe problems, if financial supports are provided we will launch our efforts to grow economy inside the country.”

“We are facing financial issues, there several economy plans to boost economy in the country,” the other participant in the workshop Nargis Mosavi said.

Increasing of unemployment in Afghanistan for the past two years has been one of the major problems of young Afghans where thousands of the Afghans have left the country to abroad to access financial support and jobs opportunities.
