11killed, 4 injured as bombing hits Afghan judiciary staff in Kabul

At least 10 people were killed and 4 others injured after a suicide bombing hit a bus carrying judiciary staff members from Kabul to Wardak province in west of Afghanistan.
Ministry of Interior Affairs of Afghanistan confirmed the incident which took place around 09:00 am on Wednesday.
“The attack took place in Baghe Dawoud area of Kabul 5th district this morning targeting a vehicle carrying the appellate court employees of Maidan Wardak, killing 10 and injuring 4 others,” Najib Danish a spokesman for the Ministry of Interior told Ariana News.
He said the attack was carried out by a suicide bomber, but further investigations are underway right now.
Taliban has not made a comment about the incident yet.
This comes as earlier the insurgent group vowed to target the judiciary workers of the Afghan government especially those who were involved in the execution of a number of the group’s militants.
Afghanistan executed six Taliban prisoners during this month as a part of a crackdown on the militant group days after a deadly attack by the group which left 64 dead and nearly 400 wounded.
