10 Years Old Girl Gang-Raped in Jawzjan, Local Officials
A 10 years old girl was raped last night by unknown men in the Qoshtepa district of northern Jawzjan province, according to the local authorities.
“The incident took place in Dash-e-Laili area of Qoshtepa district over Saturday’s night”, Abdul Hafiz Khashi, security head of the provincial police chief told Ariana News.
As stated the provincial official, Dash-e-Laili where the girl resides and has been raped, is currently under the control of armed militants.
Mr. Khashi also added that based on reports the teenage girl was transferred to the hospital overnight and forensic medicines reports indicates she was raped hardly.
However, the victim’s mother didn’t named any individual as suspects of the incident but she asked authorities to seriously pursue the perpetrators and bring them to justice.
A boy had killed his father around three months ago over raping his sister in the same province.
