11 Militants Including Pakistanis Killed, Wounded in Ghazni Province

Five militants including Pakistani citizens were killed and six others wounded in the battles against Afghan security forces in Ghazni province, said local authorities.

Mohammad Aref Noori, spokesman of Ghazni governor also confirmed that two Afghan soldiers were dead and three others wounded in the battles.

According to the local official, armed militants faced severe resistance last night after they attacked a military outpost of Afghan forces Zankhan district of Ghazni province.

Militants have recently increased their attacks against Afghan forces in different provinces across the country during which they have inflected significant casualties on security forces.

Spokesman of Laghman governor also informed that an army soldier was killed and 1 other wounded in the militants attack in the capital city of the province, Mehtarlam.

Sarhadi Zawak, spokesman of Laghman governor further noted that five militants were killed in the counter-attacks of Afghan forces.
