3 Senior Officials of Ministry of Urban, Development Arrested: Pamiri
Afghan border police forces have arrested 3 senior officials of Ministry of Urban and development whom were accused for doing corruption while they were trying to leave the country in Sheghnan district of Badakhshan Province.
The detainees names are as follows head of cohesion department Mohammad Amin Qani,head of housing tenure Ahmad Nawaz Bakhtyar, Finance Manager of cohesion department of Ministry of Urban and development were arrested by the Afghan border police forces in Sheghnan while passing the border leaving Afghanistan for Tajikistan.
District Governor of Sheghnan Hayatulah Pamiri has confirmed their detention.
President Mohammad Ashraf Ghani had accused the six senior officials of Ministry of Urban and Development for doing corruption, in the decree the attorney Gen was asked to announce their travel ban to abroad.
Earlier sources in Ministry of Urban and Development had told that 3 of those six persons have left the country.
Still not clear whether the other 3 senior officials accused for corruption have left the country or still live in Afghanistan.
