300 Armed Insurgents surrounded Yemgan district of Badakhshan

Hundreds of armed insurgents attacked police check points in Yemgan district of Badahkhshan province, security official says.
Provincial Police official, Sakhidad Haidary has said that at least 300 armed insurgents have attacked Yemgan district since early Saturday morning.
He added, insurgents have surrounded the district, but police is resisting to break the circle.
Taliban insurgents have preformed offensive attacks on Badakhshan districts after they have announced spring operations.
