51 Terrorists Killed Across the Country: Ministry of Defense
The Ministry of Defense (MoD) reported that 51 terrorists including 24 Islamic State or Daesh fighters have been killed, 7 others wounded and 1 insurgent arrested in Afghan offensives across the country.
According to a statement issued by the MoD, today, December 06, the offensives were conducted during past 24 hours, during which many weapons, munitions and vehicles belonging to the terrorists have also been seized and destroyed.
As stated by MoD, Afghan forces backed by the country’s air force jointly conducted these offensives in Nangarhar, Kunar, Paktia, Ghazni, Khost, Maidan Wardak, Kandahar, Farah, Jawzjan, Faryab, Kunduz, and Helmand provinces.
“10 planned clearance operations and 20 special operations have been carried out over the course of past 24 hours and Afghan Air Forces carried out 14 strikes on the enemies hideouts,” the statement added.
