74 Terrorists Killed in Afghanistan Over Past 24 Hours: MoD

MoD in a press release said, the operations were conducted in support of Afghan air forces in Kunar, Ghazni, Paktia, Farah, Balkh, Jawzjan, Faryab, Kunduz, Baghlan and Helmand provinces.
“During the past 24 hours, at least 13 clearing operations, 19 special operations were launched in nine provinces of the country,” the press release said.
Afghan security forces have beefed up security operations against militants as the war-weary people are facing upsurges in attacks by Taliban and Islamic State (IS) militants across the country.
