891 km of roads graveled: MoRRD
Officials in Ministry of Rural Rehabilitation and Development MoRRD claimed that 891 kilo meter of roads were graveled and paved in villages of Afghanistan in the past six months, saying the following programs were implemented in 240 villages.
Ministry of Rural Rehabilitation and Development Spokesman Akbar Rustami said,” our efforts are underway to asphalt, gravel and pave some of the roads in the villages level, and we also trying to implement some of the projects on drinkable water to direct the villages into being self sufficiency.”
Further he has stated that we have spent about 37 percent of our budget for the year of 1395 so far.”
Meanwhile Ministry of Public interests Spokesman Mahdi Rohani said,” different projects were implemented, but our big projects due to insecurity issue have been halted.”
Poor quality of projects, corruption is the major issues within the Afghanistan.
