MoI: Car Bomb Targets Police Special Unit in Khost, Kills 2 Wounded 20
A car bomb targeted the police special unit in Khost province on Tuesday morning, security officials confirmed.
Ministry of Interior (MoI) also confirms the attack and said that at least 25 people wounded in the attack.
“At least two people were killed and 25 others including 10 civilians were wounded in a car bomb at a police special unit in Khost province,” said Tariq Arian, a spokesman for the MoI.
Arian said that the attackers have been prevented from entering the center.
According to the officials the attackers entered the police special unit and are fighting with the forces inside the unit.
Daoud Tarakhel, provincial police chief, confirmed that a group of attackers entered the center and are fighting with security forces.
Taleb Mangal, provincial governor spokesman while confirms the attack said that the incident occurred around 06:00 o’clock.
“A car bomb detonated close to the wall of the police special unit,” said Mangal.
No group including the Taliban yet claimed responsibility for the attack.

Afghan authorities warn companies over work visa fraud
Afghanistan’s Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs says it has summoned representatives of travel agencies over allegations of illegally issuing work visas to Turkey and other countries through black market networks.
According to the ministry, company officials were asked to provide written commitments stating that they would no longer collect money from people under the pretext of obtaining work visas and would fully cooperate with authorities in investigating public complaints.
The ministry also warned the companies against engaging in any illegal activities related to overseas employment visas and said action would be taken against violators.
At the same time, citizens were urged not to fall victim to fraud or false promises and to avoid handing over money or personal documents to unauthorized individuals or companies claiming to arrange foreign work visas.
