Political tensions should not undermine the morale of the Afghan security forces as the rifts will be finalized soon, the Chief Executive Abdullah Abdullah said on Monday.

Abdullah emphasized that during the last two years the National Unity Government (NUG) had impressive achievements, but there were challenges as well.

“There are discussions about the implementation of the National Unity Government agreement,” Abdullah said,” I hope we conclude the discussions over the implementation of the agreement soon, but it never means that our soldier should lack the support of all of us.”

Increased insecurities by Taliban militants have made the Chief Executive to worry about the condition of the country, but he also hopes the Afghan security forces could expel the offensive soon.

“God willing, the huge wave of the offensive launched across the country by the enemies of Afghanistan could be expelled during the days and weeks ahead,” he added.

Recently the tensions between the Afghan President and Chief Executives increased after Abdullah denounced President Ghani as unfit to govern and urged his governing partner to implement the deal of the unity government unconditionally.
