CEO of Afghanistan, Abdullah Abdullah rejects any practical peace talks with Taliban.

Mr. Abdullah was talking with IBN, an Indian TV about the country’s security policy said that no peace negotiation has been occurred between the National Unity Government of Afghanistan and the Taliban group.

He confirms contacts with Taliban about peace process, but rejects any practical talks.

Abdullah believes that Pakistan is still leading and controlling the Taliban insurgents.

“Taliban is still headed from Pakistan territory, and their networks are operating in different areas of Pakistan. Pakistan military operations have played an important role in destabilizing the condition of Afghanistan,” He added.

In addition, Afghanistan national unity leader has said that beside Pakistani refugees being forced from their homes by Islamabad military attacks; it is unlikely that a large number of terrorist have also escaped to Afghanistan.
