Afghan forces cautionary act against Taliban: MoI
The Ministry of Interior (MoI) has said that Taliban have entrenched in people’s houses in Baghlan, Badakhshan and Kundoz provinces.
MoI stated that Taliban have planted mines in many areas under its control and Afghan troops must launch their operations with cautions.
Afghanistan’s northern part has recently witnessed an intense battleground between the armed oppositions of the government and Afghan forces.
The ministry of interior claims victory against Taliban; adding the opposition groups have suffered heavy causalities.
According to the MoI, operations are ongoing in Badakhshan and Kundoz and Afghan forces use any facilities to suppress the oppositions.
“Afghan people should no longer have concerns. The enemies would never stand against us again,” Sidiq Sidiqi, spokesman of MoI said.
Meanwhile, Afghan people called on National Unity Government (NUG) to intensify their attacks against the insurgents.
This comes as the ministry of interior predicts the coming year a safe year than the current year.
