Afghan intelligence arrests Taliban’s shadow governor for Ghazni
Afghan intelligence forces have arrested Taliban shadow governor for southeastern Ghazni province of Afghanistan.
According to a statement released by the National Directorate of Security (NDS) – Afghanistan’s spy agency, Qari Yousuf, the Taliban shadow governor for Ghazni province was arrested during a military opeartion in Shikh Amir village, Gurbuz district, Khowst province.
“Qari Yousuf was planning to perform a coordinated attack over security institutions,” the statement said,” humiliated and shameful Qari Yousuf dressed in women cloth was arrested while he wanted to escape from the village.”
The Taliban group has not made a comment yet.
Ghazni is among the volatile provinces in southeastern Afghanistan where the Taliban militants are actively operating in a number of its districts and villages.
