The lawmakers in Upper House of Parliament- Meshrano Jirga have voiced concern over Russia and Taliban relation; calling it ‘apparent hostility’ against the people of Afghanistan.

“United State’s failed policies caused Afghanistan changes to a battle field for countries and Russia’s support from Taliban is alarming,” said Senator Jumaouddin Geyanwall.

Senator Nesar Haris also said, “We demand all countries to stop their proxy war in Afghanistan, particularly the Russia. Instability in Afghanistan is not in interest of any country.”

“Statements of Russian envoy about relation with Taliban are very concerning and some countries are seeking to intense war in Afghanistan,” Senator Nader Baloch noted.
