Former president, Hamid Karzai recent speech against U.S. sparked unprecedented reactions among a number of senators.

The senators say the number of aerial operations was far greater during Hamid Karzai’s presidency period, yet the former President never mentioned a word about the frequent bombing.

Asif Sidiqi, vice president of The Upper House voiced his displeasure at Karzi’s comments. “Karzai has been introduced by NATO members and was brought to Afghanistan with NATO aircraft. His bodyguards were American. There were more than a hundred thousand American boots on the ground and bombardments were much more.”

Another member of the Upper housed was also disappointed with the former President. “How Karzai label the ‘MOAB’ bombing as a national treasury, while he himself released tens of Taliban fighters that a number of them are actively targeting security forces now.”

Apart from the legislators, a number of social activists protest Karzai’s recent anti-American speech and label him “a useless player.”  However, some puts his comments as politically driven speech only to attract sympathy votes for up-coming elections.

The experts believe that Karzai is no longer at the power and trying his last cards to gain some political superiority.

Karzai has furiously reacted to the MOAB bombing of ISIS fighters cave complexes in Achin district of Nangarhar province.
