Afghanistan-Pakistan ties impact future of peace: Abdullah
The chief of executive officer, Abdullah Abdullah is said to consider the future of peace and stability in the country relates to improvement of Afghanistan-Pakistan ties.
Abdullah considers efforts for peace and stability in Afghanistan are not enough and emphasized that Kabul and Islamabad should use the available opportunities to fight against terrorism.
“Future of peace and stability links to the improvements of Afghanistan and Pakistan. Terrorism is a challenge for the countries of the region and fight against this phenomenon need a joint cooperation.” Abdullah said.
Celebration of Pakistan’s National Day in Kabul once again become an excuse that Afghan officials demand Pakistan to fight against terrorist groups and takes practical steps toward bringing peace in Afghanistan.
The executive officer believes that after the formation of national unity government he has taken effective steps towards the improvement of ties between Afghanistan and Pakistan.
“We continue the way we started but efforts for providing peace is not sufficient,” added Abdullah.
Pakistan also seeks its interests in Afghanistan’s peace. Pakistan’s ambassador in Kabul said to support Afghan-peace Talks.
President Ashraf Ghani also considered ending feud between the two countries is beneficial for both parties and emphasized that Kabul-Islamabad close relations can provide peace in Afghanistan.
