Afghanistan Cricket Board (ACB) said that the Afghanistan national cricket team will start their first 50-over warm-up game against the United Arab Emirates on Monday.

This match will start at 10:30 am Kabul time at the Sharjah International Cricket Ground, ACB said.

According to the ACB the two teams will play five matches, two of which are warm-up matches.

The second 50-over warm-up game between Afghanistan and United Arab Emirates teams will be held on Wednesday this week.

The two teams will also have three T20I matches, the first of which will be played on Friday.

The series is being played under the mutual cooperation agreement that was signed last year between Afghanistan and the Emirates Cricket Board.

Based on the agreement, Afghanistan will play a series of three T20I matches with the UAE on an annual basis.
