Afghanistan replies to any threat by terrorism: MoFA

Afghanistan will reply to any threat by terrorist groups as far as we achieve practical peace, Shekib Mustaghni spokesman for the ministry of foreign affairs said.

As Taliban fighters trying to capture parts of the north and south of the country, Afghan government pledges to continue peace efforts with anti-government groups.

“The first objective of the government is to achieve peace, but as far as we achieve this objective no threat will remain unresponded,” Mustaghni said.

At the same time the first deputy of the Chief Executive of Afghanistan emphasize on the fight against terrorism to repression these groups.

Mohammad Khan, Deputy of the Chief Executive, said: “Afghanistan is fighting with terrorism on the first line; if the world neglects to destroy these groups they will change to a big threat to the world and will destabilize the world.”

Peace efforts had no achievement yet; though, Islamic State and Taliban rival groups are intensifying their operations in Afghanistan.
