Afghans Expect Government to Ensure Stability: CE Abdullah

Chief Executive Abdullah Abdullah in a meeting with Afghans based in Belarus on Wednesday said that people expecting the government to ensure stability in Afghanistan.

“The rule of law is a problem [in Afghanistan] and also the issue of corruption that [often] people complaining about,” Abdullah said.

Despite many challenges, people are expecting the government to ensure stability, not seeking its collapse, he said.

“We should act patiently. Should come with better plans and find better solutions,” he added.

Chief Executive, meanwhile, during his official visit to Minsk on Tuesday met with Alexander Lukashenko, President of the Republic of Belarus, where he discussed on bilateral economical and trade cooperation.

The sides have agreed to expand their relations especially in the area of industry, agriculture  and public services.
