Agreement Signed for Building Cricket Stadiums in Helmand, Zabul

The Afghanistan Cricket Board and Ministry of Counter-narcotics signed an agreement to build cricket grounds in southern provinces of Helmand and Zabul.

the Ministry of Counter-Narcotics will support the construction of a cricket stadium in Helmand with a total cost of 35 million Afghanis.

Shukrullah Atif Mashal, the chairman of ACB, said that work on building the grounds will begin next month.

He said that such projects would encourage youths toward sports and promote cricket.

ACB said it will support the Ministry of Counter-Narcotics in their efforts for the elimination of opium cultivation, production, and smuggling.
