President especial envoy for reforms and good governance declared that the leaders of National Unity Government (NUG) are acting on the basis of ethnicity which is a dangerous issue for Afghanistan.

Ahmad Zia Masoud, President especial envoy for reforms and good governance said that the 2014 election led to a government based on ethnic criteria.

“Instead of a National Unity Government, today we see the country in the two political axis that has ethnic identity, and is very dangerous,” Ahmad Zia Masoud, President especial envoy for reforms and good governance said.

Meanwhile, a number of leaders of Jihadi Parties who made a new coalition emphasized that they stand beside the government but demand serious reforms.

Under the name of “Afghanistan National and Jihadi Parties Council” they Jihadi leaders committed to cooperate with the current government.

The Jihadi leaders are said to believe that in addition to the increase of insecurity, poverty and violence, the government has also increased neglect.

The leader of the National Salvation Front says President Ghani’s government has its achievements but reforms must come to his government.

“We will not leave the National Unity Government alone, we will cooperate and praise and support its good achievements and criticize its mistakes,” Muhammad Karim Khalili, former vice president said.

This comes as the Jihadi parties stressed that other jihadi parties will join the Council in the near future.
