Airstrike ‘Mistakenly’ Targets School in Kunduz: Officials

The Head of Education in Kunduz City, Janat Gul Nasiri said that the airstrike bombed “Khwaja Mashad” school in the City that injured a servant and damaged part of the school.
The 808th Police Zone Spokesman, Mahfuzullah Akbari, however, said that airstrike was conducted by the coalition forces and “mistakenly” targeted the “Khwaja Mashad” school instead of being conducted in Khwaja Ghaltan region of the City.
An investigation has been launched, following the incident, Akbari said.
