AISA mergers with MoCI

Former head of Afghanistan investments support Agency AISA Mohammad Qurban Haqjo stated that assimilation of the following institution with Ministry of Commerce industry will badly impact on the investments within the country.

Head of the Afghanisan investment support Agency Mohammad Qurban Haqjo in a press conference said,” if the President of Afghanistan hasn’t been satisfied with the 9 months performances of AISA, he could have dismissed me instead of abolition of the institute.”

Former head of AISA Mr. Haqjo said,” President of Afghanistan even didn’t give the chance to talk in the session and abolish the following institution.”

Meanwhile officials in Ministry of Commerce and industry have expressed their optimism on AISA joining.

Deputy Minister of commerce and industry Abdulbari Rahman said,” When AISA came on the scene the capacity was significantly built and increased, merger of the following institution with Ministry of commerce and industry is for the good willing of the Ministry.”

Afghanistan Investment Support Agency was established on 2005 , the goal was to draw more investments in the country and will work within the Ministry of commerce and industry frame.
