The International Amnesty, a global human rights advocate, have written in its recent report that nearly 600 prisoners will probably be executed in Afghanistan.

According to the report, four more criminals’ dead penalty have been confirmed so far. These people have been accused of kidnapping, terroristic activities and murder.

“We ask the government to fairly put everyone to justice and resolve the cases partially and without any discrimination. No innocence must be punished and no criminal should be spared without persecution.” Bilal Sidiqi, a spokesperson for Afghanistan Human rights’ commission said.

While human rights’ advocates express concerns over legal institutions partiality, the government defends dead penalty, citing it is totally allowed in Islamic laws.

“Government harshly trying to bring required reforms in legal institutions in order to bring the criminals to justice for persecution.” Shah Hussain Murtazawi, presidential palace spokesperson said.

Afghan president has publically announced to execute dead penalty over criminals charged with terroristic activities. A verdict which doesn’t favor human rights bodies too much.
