ANA face barriers despite of millions dollars spent: US military

US military officials have urged that despite of millions of dollars spent on equipping Afghan National Army of Afghanistan, they still face some barriers while defending the country, efforts are underway to remove the following obstacle in 2016.

Officials in Ministry of interior affairs in Afghanistan stated that despite of insecurity threats, Afghan National security forces still in needs of International regular supports to defend insurgency in Afghanistan.

NATO deputy of communication resolute support in Afghanistan Wilson Shoffener said,” for the time being Afghan security forces still face problems while fighting against terrorism, he also stated that Afghan security forces have responded to incident so late.”

Meanwhile Afghanistan’s Interior Ministry spokesman Sediq Sediqee said,” Afghan security forces do need the International community supports to tackle security challenges, our needs are to be equipped, more training to defend the country and respond to terrorism on time.”

International community especially US and India has donated dozen helicopters for Afghan Air forces to be equipped and defend terrorism.

Three of the four Mi-35 helicopters which were donated by India have been assembled and are now fully operational, however US Government has delivered 4- M29 to Afghan Air forces and it’s said that 8 more jet fighters will be given to Afghan Air forces by the end of 2018.

The US Military official insisted that Afghan security forces should be working effectively to ensure security for Afghanistan.
