ANSF control majority of Dand-i- Ghori, Shabuddin in Baghlan

Officials in Ministry of Defense have stated that 164 Taliban were killed and 180 others were injured after Afghan National Security forces have launched clearance operations in two main districts of Baghlan, where Taliban and their affiliates have sheltered and destroyed the common life of residents and even the capital city of Kabul by damaging the power pylons.

MoD spokesman Dawlat Waziri said,” the majority of the Dand-i- Ghori and Shabuddin districts of Baghlan are not being controlled by Afghan National Security forces, saying we will continue to our operation until we clear those districts our of Taliban militants.”

Afghan security forces have been facing lack of heavy weapons and air supports during their operations since decade, saying if we have air supports along our ground force’s strength we will clear the area within hours.

Meanwhile Ministry of Interior Affairs spokesman Sediq Sediqee said,” insurgents were defeated, they are using the residential houses as safe shelters.”

After war erupted in Kunduz and Taliban were defeated most of the Taliban and Pakistani militants have come to Baghlan,and now they are fighting against Afghan security forces in Dand-i- Ghori ,Shabuddin districts, the Afghan security forces are committed to remove the insurgents.
