Arg has no intention on electoral reformation law to be approved: Manavi

Former head of the Election commission and lawyers Union Fazel Ahmad Manavi stated that Afghanistan Government doesn’t have the intention that the Electoral reformation law to be approved by the law makers in the house of the parliament or to hold the parliamentary Election.

President Mohammad Ashraf Ghani has sent his decree insisting on the approval of the Election reformation law in the house of the parliament, the following law has drawn contrary views and opinions of the law makers in the house due to some disagreement the following law has been postponed incoming session in the future.

Former head of the Election commission Fazel Ahmad Manavi said,” Afghan Government doesn’t want the parliamentary Election to be held or the law for the Election reformation to be approved, there are some within the Arg lobbing to postpone the decree of the President, and there are some in the parliament of Afghanistan who don’t want the following law to be approved either.”

Meanwhile head of the lawyer Union AbdulGhayor said,” Neither the leaders of the National Unity Government are keen for reformation, nor the members of the parliament , because holding of the new parliamentary Election will end the life of scores of law makers in the house who are pessimistic about it.”

According to Manavi statement the 2008 Election was also held based on the decree where the Afghanistan parliament was experiencing its 5th year.
