ATNN Management Declaration On Death of Ariana News Reporter
The martyrdom of Nematullah Zaheer, the Ariana News local reporter, has greatly shocked and saddened the leadership and all personnel of Ariana and Ariana News Television Networks (ATNN).
On the occasion of Zaheer’s dead, the leadership of ATNN offers its deepest condolences and sorrow to his family and to the media family. May his soul rest in peace and Allah grant patience for his bereaved family.
Nematullah Zaheer, the brave reporter of ATNN lost his life on Friday morning when a roadside bomb hit his vehicle in Gudar Sorkh area of Lashkar Gah while he was striving to prepare a report from the operation of Afghan forces in second police district of Helmand province.
He was a dedicated and hardworking provincial reporter of ATNN. He worked with ATNN for eight years and reflected the security, social, political and cultural issues of Helmand province impartially during his tenure.
As we appreciate his dedication and achievements, we would like to offer our condolences again to his family and to the media family. His death is a great loss, but we are committed to work harder for the institutionalization of freedom of expression.
