AWCC Plants 400 Trees in Various Parts of Kabul

Officials of Afghan Wireless Communication Company (AWCC) planted nearly 400 none-productive trees in Mirbachakot and Qarabagh districts of Kabul city to green the areas and prevent further pollution.

The Financial Deputy department of environment of Kabul municipality Mohammad Wasel Bazegh said, “We welcome the previous and current efforts of Afghan Wireless Communication Company for planting trees in different parts of Kabul city, while demanding the AWCC to continue to plant trees.”

Meanwhile the Afghan Wireless Communication Company General Regional manager Ismail Faizi cited AWCC tries to turn Kabul city green.

He said, “Afghan Wireless Communication Company launched efforts to protect the environment and keep green all parts, by launching promotion of planting saplings in the country.”

On the other hand local officials in some districts of Kabul city stated that planting trees will improve the environment situation.

District Governor of Mirbachakot of Kabul city Abdul Rahim Rashid said, “We admire the Afghan Wireless Communication Company and the Kabul municipality environment protection. officials asking other companies to take part in protection of environment.”

Planting trees will help Kabul city environment to be cleaner and it will also prevent increasing of pollution within the city.
