Bayat Foundation distributes food and warm clothes to returning refugees in Nangarhar
Refugees in Nangarhar, who have returned from Pakistan, were this week assisted by Bayat Foundation and given food packages and warm clothes to help them through winter.
As part of the foundation’s winter aid campaign, dozens of families received packages that included flour, rice, cooking oil and clothes.
“We came to Nangarhar province to distribute aid to a number of deserving returning refugees,” Haji Mohammad Ismail, deputy head of Bayat Foundation said.
He confirmed the packages contained essential food items and warm clothes.
Returning refugees who benefited from this aid thanked the foundation for their assistance and appealed to other organizations to also help people in need.
Foundation officials have meanwhile said that their winter aid campaign will continue and assistance will be provided to needy families in other parts of the country.
