Bayat Foundation distributes winter aid to needy families in Ghazni province
Bayat Foundation has handed out dozens of aid packages of food and non-food items to needy families in Ghazni province.
The packages include flour, rice, cooking oil and warm clothes.
“In continuation of Bayat Foundation’s donations, which we distribute every year because of the cold days, we started distributions this year as well. Earlier we distributed in Kabul province and today we came to Ghazni province and we are distributing food and non-food items to dozens of deserving people,” said Haji Mohammad Ismail, deputy head of Bayat Foundation.
Foundation officials also said the distribution of aid to needy families in Kabul and other provinces in the country will continue throughout winter.
The families who have benefited from these donations ask other charitable organizations to help Afghans in need during these difficult times.
Bayat Foundation has helped the needy residents of Ghazni province in the past as well.
Bayat Foundation has also provided significant help with safe drinking water, building of mosques, health centers and schools in some provinces.
