Bayat Foundation donates food supplies to school children

Bayat Foundation donated about 200 food packages and stationary to the student of Abdul Rahim Shahid High School in 13th district of Kabul city on Sunday.

The Chairperson of the Foundation said that more than two million food packages of malnutrition is ready to be dispatched and distributed to student across the country.

“In an effort to benefit the people of Afghanistan and the children with malnutrition problem, we are here today to provide some cloths and food to the Abdul Rahim Shahid High school students,” Engineer Ehsanullah Bayat the Chairman of Bayat Foundation said.

Another member of the Foundation called the food packages as “a very effective” supplies for children.

“These packages are very effective for children suffering from malnutrition, it contains supplemental material. Vitamins and other complements included in these packages are very useful for children mentally and physically,” Shogofa Sadat, the Coordinator of Bayat Foundation added.

Officials from the Afghan Ministry of Education thanked Bayat Foundation for its assistance to the Afghan needed families.

“Thank you Bayat Foundation, this is the second time you are here to support the orphan students, it is very important to care about the children. It will encourage the students to study harder and to bring a bright future for Afghanistan,” Ghulam Haidar Hussaini the Head of the School said.

The Foundation promises to launch distribution of another two million food packages in another three months across the country.

The Bayat Foundation has helped rebuild Afghanistan as well as deliver hope and support to the neediest and most at-risk Afghans. By providing food and clothing; maternity care for women before and during childbirth and to newborn babies; orphan care and education; competitive sports to challenge the youth; and entrepreneurship programs for widows, women and youth, the Foundation’s goal is to rekindle a healthy and hopeful base so that all Afghans have the opportunity to prosper.
