Body of 8-year old child found in cemetery in Sheberghan
A 8-year-old boy whose body was found in a cemetery was the victim of a “savage and brutal attack”, police have said.
A murder inquiry is under way after Edris, the 8-year-old child was discovered in central Sheberghan city of Jawzjan province on Friday.
Muhammad Rahim, Chief of discovering and fighting against crimes of Jawzjan security commander said, “Edris has lost his life as a result of a savage and brutal attack, which has shocked the officers working on the case.”
Rahim noted that no one has yet arrested in connection to this incident and investigation on the issue has started by security discovering forces.
However, the family members of Edris accused security officials of negligence in their duties; saying the officials have not cooperated with them in detection of the case in the past three days.
During the current year, this is the first time that a child abducts and later killed in a savage brutal attack.
