Both contenders present another scheme for disagreements
The two presidential candidates met each other Tuesday and presented another scheme for the remained disagreements.
According to the two electoral teams, both candidates worked on disagreements of the first scheme in today’s meeting that the biggest difference between the two candidates is the distribution of power in the form of 50+50.
Abdullah’s electoral team said that the rival team is seeking monopolize power by the president Karzai.
In the meantime, Ashraf Ghani’s electoral team said that the alternative scheme is created to surmount the disagreements.
While the candidates continue to fight, the country has remained in a state of uncertainty: millions of dollars in financial assistance remain in limbo as donors await the inauguration of a new president. Insurgents have take advantage of Kabul’s distracted state, launching some of the large offensives around the country to test the mettle of the fledgling security force.
