Both vice presidents officially begin to work
General Abdul Rashid Dostom, the first vice president and Sarwar Danish, the second vice president of Afghanistan emphasized on the regulated and inclusive government and said to consider themselves to solve the problems of people.
Ashraf Ghani Ahmad Zai said that the governance and implementation of the law are their priority that his two vice presidents have effective role in that.
Sarwar Danish also emphasized to sustain the achievements of the past 13 years of Karzai’s government.
The new government of national unity will have multiple challenges to overcome in addition to dealing with internal rivalries. Its coffers are empty and it faces a growing Taliban insurgency that has regained territory across the country.
