Boy raped before being hanged in Kabul

Unidentified men raped and strangled to death and hanged a 14 year-old boy in a snooker gym in 3th police district of Kabul city.

Kabul police, Feraiddun Obaidi says the boy was found dead on Saturday in 3th police district of the capital Kabul. Police identified the victim as Elyas.

The boy was briefly killed after being sexually assaulted. His family claimed that their child had been raped and strangled to death with a rope.

Elyas’s family asked security organs to investigate the case thoroughly and arrest those involved.

However Kabul police have not confirmed the boy raped but said the case has been sent to forensic for further investigation.

“Unfortunately, we have found the boy’s corpse in a snooker gym in 3th police district of Kabul,” said Feraiddun Obaidi, director of criminal investigation of Kabul police. “We cannot say anything regarding the issue, but our investigations are underway and we have detained two person on suspicion of the murder.”

Ariananews tried to contact with the family of the victim but they have refused to provide any information.

Reports suggest that the 14-year old teenager, Elyas was one of the hawkers boys who worked hard for finding breads to his family.
