Bus Collision Leaves 29 Dead, Wounded on Kabul-Kandahar Highway

Seven people were confirmed dead and 22 others wounded after a 303 commuter bus collided with a car on Kabul-kandahar in Maiwand district of Kandahar, said local authorities.
Qudratullah Khoshbakht, spokesman of Kandahar governor told Ariana News that the traffic incident took place around noon, today, in an area along the highway, belonging to Maiwand district.
He added that the wounded people have already been transferred to hospital in Kandahar City.
Such deadly incidents have often caused many casualties across the highway which mostly take place due to the recklessness of drivers and destroyed roads in the country.
