Bus Crash Leaves 13 Injured in Kandahar

At least 13 people including four children and three women were injured in a car accident in Maiwand district of southern Kandahar province on Tuesday, an official said.

Samim Ikhpelwak, the provincial governor’s spokesman, told Ariana News a 303 passenger bus crashed in Maiwand district, causing the casualties.

According to the source the bus was travelling from Kandahar to western Herat province when it was crashed.

High speed, reckless driving and bad condition of the roads are the main reasons behind traffic accidents in Afghanistan that usually leaves high causalities.
