The Parliament representatives are said to consider the performances of cabinet ministers not acceptable in any way; citing many problems such as insecurity and economic problems afflicting the people due to their poor managements.

Secretary of the Wolesi Jirga, Abdul Rauf Inami said, “The cabinet ministers would be summoned to Parliament after Eid to response on their few months working.”

Accoridng to the Inami, if the ministers failed to make the representatives satisfy or it reveals that they have dual citizenship they will be impeached.

“The ministries seats are not the heritage of anyone. Incompetents of security commanders and ministers has become extremely high and we want to summon ministers due to the existence of current challenges and the interests of Afghan people,” Kubra Mustafawi, Kabul representative said.

Shah Gul Rezai, representative of Ghazni also said, “Ministers are enough incompetents to the Afghanistan’s current situation. They are not accountable to the people’s problems and the high walls of ministries caused a gap creates between the government and people.”

Having a dual citizenship of some ministers is also one of other major concerns of Parliament representatives. They accepts that some of the ministers are having dual citizenship but also emphasizing that if this issue proved they will introduce them to the judicial institutions.

“We are trying to reveal the fact. If it proves that the ministers have dual citizenships they will be introduce to the judicial institutions,” Abdul Rauf Inami, secretary of WJ said.
