CE Abdullah Stresses on Rising Capacity of Afghan Elite Forces
Commending the Afghan Special Forces on Thursday, Chief Executive Abdullah Abdullah said the government makes efforts to rise the capacity of the elite forces.
Abdullah made the remarks while visiting the Special Force Unit in Kabul to mark the National Day of Afghan Defense and Security Forces. The day which was expected to be celebrated on Wednesday but was delayed as the Kabul Process II conference was held in the capital.
“We assure you that the government is there to support you, so you could perform your duty well and be in a better environment,” he said.
At the event, Defense Minister Tariq Shah Bahrami said also commended the special forces, insisting that will be “victorious” in the battleground.
“I have a message to our brave defense forces that our path is right. Be strong and committed to defending the people and the country,” he said.
