Center for Justice, Judicial and Anti-Corruption Launches Operations

The Office of Afghanistan’s Attorney General has announced that The Center for Justice, Judicial and Anti-Corruption has commenced operations. The Office of Afghanistan’s Attorney General’s Office stated that all cases brought before the Center will be investigated thoroughly and impartially.

In addition, The Attorney General’s Office stated that the results of each investigation would be disclosed to the public.

Attorney General Farid Hameed stated that, individuals who were accused of corrupt practices would be treated fairly, but that the Center had the authority to act. Attorney General Farid emphasized that the results of The Center’s investigations would be shared with the public.

He went on and said,” The center of justice, judicial and anti-corruption started officially working, and will review strictly and precisely the corruption cases, we demand the Afghans to provide supports, we have strong commits, and also the members of the centers are going to pursue the cases considering the justice.”

At the end of the inauguration members of the center of justice, judicial and anti-corruption took the oath and promised to pursue any cases by considering the justice and laws.

Numerous reports have described how corruption in Afghanistan continues to impede the nation’s economic and social development.
