The Chief Executive Office of the National Unity Government calls Taliban terrorists and believes that those who kills the people of Afghanistan are the enemies of the people, not political oppositions.

Mujib Ul Rahman Rahimi, Spokesman of the Chief Executive Officer said that Afghan government does not have any of her political oppositions in prison, Taliban prisoners are the enemies of Afghans.

He added those who release Taliban inmates from prisons to join back in operations against Afghan government must be prosecuted in a court.

These statements comes after the United States of America released four Taliban prisoners from Guantanamo Bay to Afghanistan and stated that these detainees have been cleared and are not considered to represent security risks in Afghanistan.

The men, who had been in the camp for more than 10 years, were named as Shah Wali Khan, Khair Gul, Abdul Ghani and Mohammad Zahir.

Recently Obama declared that he will struggle to close Guantanamo detention facility.

“I’m going to be doing everything I can to close it, It is something that continues to inspire jihadists and extremists around the world, the fact that these folks are being held, It is contrary to our values and it is wildly expensive,” Obama said.

The anti-government armed militant groups who have been released from Afghan detention facilities have greatly been criticized by a number of civil society organizations, political parties and the people of Afghanistan.

Even recently Rahmatullah Nabil, the Head of Afghanistan National Directorate of Security (ANDS) who was summoned to Wolesi Jirga because of the security situation stated that we have arrested one suicide bomber three times and each time he was released from Pul-e-Charkhi prison.

It is believed that all Taliban prisoners have been released to help the peace negotiations which have never been started.

On the other hand the Afghanistan High Peace Council is asking the government to facilitate to return the other eight prisoners in Guantanamo detention facility.

The political opposition term was recently been used by President Ghani after the inauguration of the National Unity Government while the Chief Executive Officer and the First Voice President are calling Taliban terrorists and enemies of the people.
