CEO office trying to have Influence on Election Commission: Nuristani

Head of the Election Commission Ahmad Yusuf Nuristani has called the recent statements of the second deputy of CEO Mohammad Muhaqiq hilarious and full of fantasy.

Mr. Nuristani said,” officials in CEO office trying to have influence on Election Commission in the future.”

He has declared that 22 July 2015 is the end of the Election Commission staffs activities, continuing of activities beyond that date is illegal.

Nuristani has criticized different programs of media,saying the main factors for creating chaos within the Election committee are foreigners,CEO office also believed that existence of CEO office is illegal.

International community has been supporting Afghanistan’s Elections process financially after the Transition Government,but now they have cut off their aiding last month the following has lost more than 800 its staffs due to financial issues,

“Cutting the financial aids has impacted even the fuel of my cars,but commissioners still enjoying their privileges said Head of the Election Commission Ahmad Yusuf Nurstani.”

The main reason that International community stopped aiding Afghanistan’s Election commission was delaying on holding the parliamentary Election.

First deputy of the lower house Zahir Qadeer said,” Election Commission is responsible to determine the date for Election according to laws.”

Earlier officials in National Unity Government had promised to reform the Election system in the country before holding parliamentary Election.

And officials in CEO office had demanded the dismiss all the current Heads Election commission before holding other elections.
