Civil institutions harshly react toward kidnapped passengers in Kunduz

A number of civil institutions have gathered to show their reaction against the abducted passengers in Kunduz province.

The civil activists condemned Taliban abduction; citing the National Unity Government (NUG) is incompetent in providing the security of Afghan residents.

“We cannot tolerate a negligent and incompetent government anymore,” Sami Daraee, civil activist said.

“We should fight against those Taliban who are in ARG; presidential palace,” Pariza Rahmani, civil activist said.

They urged the government to rethink about oriented reconciliation policy.

“Taliban would never reconcile with the government, they do not know anything about peace,” Basir Dad Khah, civil activist said.

The civil activists have also demand the international community to impose sanction against the Taliban group and its supporters.

Taliban militants have killed at least 10 people after kidnapping dozens of bus passengers near the city of Kunduz in northern Afghanistan.

Two buses that were travelling from Kabul to Badakhshan stopped and more than 185 passengers seized by armed gunmen.

The Taliban and other armed groups have frequently kidnapped and killed travelers using highways passing through volatile regions of Afghanistan.
