Combat Helicopters To Be Sent to Kandahar in Near Future

Achakzay noted the Taliban group does not have widespread activities but when they gather from various provinces and storm to a district, the security forces face challenges.
He expressed optimism over the better situation of eastern zone with the arrival of six combat helicopters.
Gen. Abdul Raziq emphasized that a major operation will kick off against the insurgents in this province.
He further added that the Taliban group has been defeated in Kandahar but will keep trying for compensation with replacing magnetic bombs.
