The Presidential Palace has decided that the minister of defense Besmillah Muhammadi will attend the important meeting of NATO member countries in Wales of UK.

The new President of Afghanistan was expected to represent the country in NATO meeting, however the new President is yet to be elected following electoral dispute.

The NATO had warned it would completely withdraw troops from Afghanistan if the new President of the country didn’t attend the NATO meeting going to be held this month in UK.

The Presidential candidates, Abdullah Abdulla and Ashraf Ghani Ahmadzai, have also been invited to the meeting.

The campaign team of Abdullah Abdullah said Sunday that the British Prime Minister himself has telephoned Abdullah and invited him to the meeting, however, Abdullah may not attend the summit following electoral issues.
