Denmark Tops Rule of Law Ranking, Venezuela a Bottom Performer Out of 113 Countries
The recent research launched by the World Justice Project states that Afghanistan received the 3rd position in law breaking among 113 countries of the world.
Meanwhile former head of the monitoring committee on implementation of constitution has warned if the Government doesn’t take step towards regulation, Afghanistan will change as second Syria and Vietnam.
Head of World Justice Rule of Law Project Andre Pansy said,” The research summarizes the views of the 110000 people around the world which were collected by our colleagues that indicate how the rule of law is experienced by the general public worldwide.”
The 2016 edition expands coverage to 113 countries and jurisdictions (from 102 in 2015), relying on more than 100,000 household and expert surveys to measure how the rule of law is experienced in practical, everyday situations by the general public worldwide.
Performance is measured using 44 indicators across eight primary rules of law factors, each of which is scored and ranked globally and against regional and income peers: Constraints on Government Powers, Absence of Corruption, Open Government, Fundamental Rights, Order and Security, Regulatory Enforcement, Civil Justice, and Criminal Justice.
Members at monitoring committee on implementation of constitution have declared the major ignoring law which is being practiced is delay over holding of the Parliamentary Election and no Election for selecting mayor within the states.
Head of the monitoring committee on implementation of constitution Mohammad Qasim Hashimzai said,” When war continues in a country, the implementation of rule of law will become hard, those who breaks the law will be inked the most.”
Former head of monitoring committee on implementation of constitution Gul Rahman Qazi accused the Government for failing to sentence the law breakers.
He said,” warned if the Government doesn’t take step towards regulation, Afghanistan will change as second Syria and Vietnam.”
Meanwhile a number of lawyers declared President of Afghanistan as the most violated law breaking person in the country.
Head of the lawyers Union Abdul Ghayor Ghayor said,” President breaks the law, and Afghanistan is one of the countries in this earth which never maintains commitments to National interests, law doesn’t have foundation.”
Based on the survey Afghanistan stands first on corruption and producing of Narcotic drugs in the world, but this time it inked 3rd position on breaking of rule of law among the 113 countries in the world.
