Detergent factory opens in Nimroz province

The Ministry of Commerce and Industry said on Thursday that a detergent factory worth $150,000 was opened in Zaranj city, the center of Nimroz province this week.
Speaking at a ceremony to officially open the company, Fazel Mohammad Fazli, head of industry and trade in Nimroz province, said: “Domestic companies are important in the country’s economy and self-sufficiency, and this department is always trying to support domestic products.”
He asked businessmen to invest in different sectors.
According to the ministry, this company with an initial investment of $150,000, has created employment for 30 professional and non-professional people and has a capacity to produce five tons of detergents in 24 hours.
