On the last day of Martyrs Week, dozens of martyrs heirs gathered in Pul-e Charkhi and cried for justice; calling on government to bring the perpetrators of the mass destruction of the past 3 decades to justice.

With releasing a letter, they urged for more points to the heirs of martyrs.

The heirs of martyrs from 30 years ago claimed that a number of criminals are still in senior positions of the government.

“Our aim for gathering in this place is to show the crimes of Khalgh and Parcham regimes and also showcase the memories of martyrs,” Shahabuddin Shahab, head of the Islamic Society of Afghanistan Secretariat said.

According to them, in this incident several members of a family were taken to an unknown place for unknown reasons and they had not even returned back.

“President Ashraf Ghani has claimed that he has known the perpetrators of this incident, now come and bring them to justice,” Nasratullah Neizai said.

Change of Martyrs department to the ministry, material and spiritual bonuses to the heirs of martyrs are the main demands of them.
